Why Plural Healthcare?

Community. Personalized Care. New Possibilities.

Plural is not being alone. Whatever you’re dealing with, whatever pain you’re experiencing, you don’t have to face it on your own. We are here to listen, to come alongside you, and to offer you a way forward. There’s no shame in reaching out for help. We all need the support of others sometimes.

Plural is new options. When regular visits to a therapist or psychiatrist don’t seem to be enough, attending an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) may be just what you need. Many people aren’t aware that such an effective treatment is even an option. But it offers an alternative to taking more medications, staying at a residential facility, or ending up in the hospital.

Plural is moments. When life feels like it’s spiraling out of control, you can’t afford to wait months or even years to get the support you need. Something needs to change right away. We offer immediate help in times of crisis. And our programs are designed to help turn things around in a short period of time.

Plural is community. Discover courage and insight from people just like you – people who are on a similar journey of healing. Find your voice. Learn from other people’s experiences. Share what you are going through in a supportive, judgement-free space. Our small group sessions (led by a skilled therapist) are a big part of what makes IOP so effective. Together we are stronger.

Plural is your community. Growth and healing doesn’t just happen inside the group sessions or in conversations with the therapist. It comes when you connect what you’re learning to your life. When you’re in IOP, you remain a part of your normal life and local support communities. This means you can continue to rely on the support of your friends, family, and other loved ones. And you can address current life challenges inside the program.

Plural is personalized care. We don’t believe in a one-sized-fits-all approach. Everyone is different. When you join our programs, one of first things we do is a private, one-on-one assessment. We’ll spend time getting to know you and your situation. Then we can craft a custom treatment plan. And we can tailor our care to your unique needs, challenges, and goals.

Plural is multiple people looking out for you. Every step of the way, you’ll be under the care of our professional staff – the therapist, psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, care coordinator, and more. And if needed, we’re here to connect you to other mental health providers or resources in the community.

Plural is holistic treatment. Our programs bring together a variety of tools to help you get results. This includes the group and individual sessions with our therapist. And if appropriate, it may mean prescribing medications for you. We also incorporate skills such as mindfulness, body awareness, and breathing exercises that you can apply whenever you need them. Our mission is to empower you with skills you can use for the rest of your life.

Plural is new possibilities. No matter what you’ve been dealing with to this point, you don’t have to be defined by your challenges any longer. You can start building a new life – one with more days full of inner peace and meaning. We won’t lie and pretend this journey will be easy. There will be plenty of ups and downs. But we can tell you one thing for sure: Right now, in this moment, you can start moving toward a new future. You can take the first step.
